मन्थानो बहुलो वायु: सकल: सर्वलोचन: । तलस्ताल: करस्थाली ऊर्ध्वसंहननो महान्
manthāno bahulo vāyuḥ sakalaḥ sarvalocanaḥ | talastālaḥ karasthālī ūrdhvasaṃhanano mahān ||
வாயுதேவன் கூறினான்—அவன் மத்தனம் செய்யும் பேராற்றல் கொண்ட பெருங்காற்றின் வடிவம்; உலகையே கலக்கி மத்தனம் செய்ய வல்லவன்; எல்லாச் சக்திகளிலும் நிறைந்தவன், அனைத்தையும் காண்பவன். தன் உள்ளங்கையால் தாளம் இடுபவன்; தன் கைகளையே பாத்திரமாகக் கொண்டு உண்பவன்; உயர்ந்த, வலிமைமிகு, இறுக்கமான உடற்கட்டமைப்புடையவன்; உண்மையிலே மகான்.
