Transliteration

siddhārthakārī siddhārthaś chandovyākaraṇottaraḥ | siṃhanādaḥ siṃhadamṣṭraḥ siṃhagaḥ siṃhavāhanaḥ ||

Translation

வாயுதேவன் கூறினான்— அவர் நிறைவேறிய நோக்கங்களை நிறைவேற்றுபவர்; நிலைபெற்ற சத்தியத்தின் உருவமே; வேதச் சந்தமும் இலக்கணமும் ஆகிய துறைகளில் உத்தமர். சிங்கம்போல் கர்ஜிப்பவர், சிங்கத்தினைப் போன்ற கொம்புப் பற்கள் உடையவர், சிங்கத்தின் மேல் ஏறிச் செல்பவர், சிங்கமே அவரின் வாகனம்—நீதிக்காகப் பயன்படும் அடங்காத வலிமையை இவை அறிவிக்கின்றன.
