प्रदाता सर्वलोकानां विश्व चाप्युच्यते महत् । ज्येष्ठभूतं वदन्त्येनं ब्राह्यणा ऋषयो5परे
pradātā sarvalokānāṁ viśva cāpy ucyate mahat | jyeṣṭhabhūtaṁ vadanty enaṁ brāhmaṇā ṛṣayo 'pare ||
அவர் எல்லா உலகங்களுக்கும் அருள்புரியும் தாதா; உயிர்கள் நாடும் பொருள்களை வழங்குபவர். இந்தப் பெரும் பிரபஞ்சமே அவருடைய வெளிப்பாடாகச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது. ஆகவே பிராமணரும் பிற ரிஷிகளும் அவரை ஜ்யேஷ்டன்—ஆதி, முதன்மை—என்று அறிவிக்கின்றனர்.
