नित्येन ब्रह्मचर्येण लिड्रमस्य यदा स्थितम् । महयत्यस्य लोकक्न प्रियं होतन्महात्मन:
nityena brahmacaryeṇa liṅgam asya yadā sthitam | mahayaty asya lokānāṁ priyaṁ hotaṁ mahātmanāḥ ||
வாயு கூறினார்—நித்திய பிரம்மச்சரியத்தில் நிலைத்திருந்து தினந்தோறும் இந்த சிவலிங்கத்தை முறையாக வழிபடுகிறவன், மகாத்மா சங்கரனுக்கு மிகப் பிரியனாவான்; அதனால் உலகங்களின் மேன்மையும் உயர்வும் உண்டாகும்.
