प्रयत: प्रातरुत्थाय यदधीये विशाम्पते । प्राज्जलि: शतरुद्रीयं तन््मे निगदत: शृणु
prayataḥ prātarutthāya yadadhīye viśāmpate | prāñjaliḥ śatarudrīyaṃ tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇu prajānātha ||
மக்கள்தலைவனே! நான் தினமும் விடியற்காலையில் எழுந்து, மனமும் புலன்களும் அடக்கி, கைகூப்பி ஜபித்து ஓதிப் பயிலும் சதருத்ரீயத்தை இப்போது உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்; கேள்.
