द्वारवत्यां समासीन पुरा मां कुरुनन्दन । प्रद्युम्न: परिपप्रच्छ ब्राह्म॒णैः परिकोपित:
Dvāravatyāṃ samāsīnaḥ purā māṃ Kurunandana | Pradyumnaḥ paripapraccha brāhmaṇaiḥ parikopitaḥ ||
வாயு கூறினார்—ஓ குருநந்தனே! முற்காலத்தில் நான் த்வாரவதியில் தங்கியிருந்தபோது, சில பிராமணர்கள் தூண்டியதால் என் மகன் பிரத்யும்னன் கோபமடைந்து, என்னிடம் வந்து என்னைக் கேள்வி கேட்டான்.
