विश्वमूर्तिमहामूर्तिदीप्तमूर्तिरमूर्तिमान् । अनेकमूर्तिरिव्यक्त: शतमूर्ति: शतानन:
viśvamūrtimahāmūrtidīptamūrtiramūrtimān | anekamūrtiravyaktaḥ śatamūrtiḥ śatānanaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—முழு பிரபஞ்சமே அவருடைய உருவம்; அவர் விராட் புருஷன். அவர் மாபெரும் உருவம் உடையவன், ஒளிவீசும் உருவம் உடையவன், ஆயினும் உருவமற்றவன். உயிர்களின் நலனுக்காக அவர் பல உருவங்களை ஏற்றாலும், அவரது உண்மை இயல்பு முழுமையாக வெளிப்படுத்த இயலாதது. அவர் நூறு உருவங்களும் நூறு முகங்களும் உடையவன் போல—அளவற்ற வெளிப்பாடு உடையவன்.
