अनिर्विण्ण: स्थविष्ठो5 भूर्धर्मयूपो महामख: । नक्षत्रनेमिर्नक्षत्री क्षम: क्षाम: समीहन:
bhīṣma uvāca | anirviṇṇaḥ sthaviṣṭho 'bhūd dharmayūpo mahāmakhaḥ | nakṣatranemir nakṣatrī kṣamaḥ kṣāmaḥ samīhanaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அவர் சோர்வும் மாற்றமும் அற்றவர்; விராட் ரூபத்தில் நிலைபெற்றவர்; பிறவியற்றவர்; தர்மத்தின் தூண், மஹாயாகத்தின் வடிவம். அவர் எல்லா நட்சத்திரங்களின் மையம்; நட்சத்திரங்களின் அதிபதி (சந்திரன்); எல்லாச் செயல்களிலும் வல்லவர்; உலகங்கள் தங்கும் நிலம்; படைப்பு மற்றும் ஒழுங்கமைப்பிற்காகச் செம்மையாகச் செயற்படுபவர்.
