ओजस्तेजोद्युतिधर: प्रकाशात्मा प्रतापन: । ऋद्धः स्पष्टाक्षरो मन्त्रश्नन्द्रांशुर्भास्करद्युति:
ojastejodyutidharaḥ prakāśātmā pratāpanaḥ | ṛddhaḥ spaṣṭākṣaro mantraś candrāṁśur bhāskaradyutiḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அவர் ஓஜஸ், தேஜஸ், த்யுதி ஆகியவற்றைத் தாங்குபவர்; ஒளியே அவருடைய ஆத்மச్వరூபம்; தம் வல்லமையால் தணித்து-தீட்டியும் ஆளுபவர். அவர் ருத்த: தர்மம், ஞானம், வைராக்யம் முதலிய செல்வங்களால் நிறைந்தவர்; அவருடைய அக்ஷரம் தெளிவு—வெளிப்பட்ட ஓம்; அவர் வேத மந்திரங்களின் வடிவம்; உலகத் தாபத்தால் சுட்ட மனங்களைச் சந்திரக்கதிர்போல் குளிர்விப்பவர்; சூரியன் போல் பிரகாசிப்பவர்.
