पूतात्मा परमात्मा च मुक्तानां परमा गति: । अव्यय: पुरुष: साक्षी क्षेत्रज्ञो5क्षर एव च
pūtātmā paramātmā ca muktānāṁ paramā gatiḥ | avyayaḥ puruṣaḥ sākṣī kṣetrajño 'kṣara eva ca ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அவரே தூய ஆத்மா; அவரே பரமாத்மா; முக்தர்களுக்குப் பரம இலக்கு அவரே. அவர் அவ்யயன்—உள்ளிருக்கும் புருஷன்; அவர் சாட்சி; அவர் க்ஷேத்ரஞன் (உடலும் இயற்கையும் அறிபவன்); அவர் அக்ஷரன்—அழிவற்றவன்.
