Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
सुदुस्तरार्थतत्त्वस्य वक्ता कर्ता च माधव: । तव पार्थ जय: कृत्स्नस्तव कीर्तिस्तथातुला
sudustarārthatattvasya vaktā kartā ca mādhavaḥ | tava pārtha jayaḥ kṛtsnas tava kīrtis tathātulā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—கடந்து அறிதற்கு அரிய அந்தத் தத்துவத்தின் உரைப்பவரும் நிறைவேற்றுபவரும் மாதவனே. ஓ பார்த்தா! உன் முழு வெற்றியும் உன் ஒப்பற்ற புகழும் அவரைச் சார்ந்ததாலேயே உனக்குக் கிடைத்தன.
