Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
पतिप्रसाद: स्वर्गो वा तुल्यो नार्या न वा भवेत् । अहं स्वर्ग न हीच्छेयं त्वय्यप्रीते महेश्वरे
patiprasādaḥ svargo vā tulyo nāryā na vā bhavet | ahaṃ svargaṃ na hīccheyaṃ tvayy aprīte maheśvare ||
கணவரின் அருள்பார்வையும் சொர்க்கமும்—பெண்ணின் பார்வையில் இவை இரண்டும் உண்மையில் சமமா இல்லையா என்பது ஐயமே. மகேஸ்வரா, என் உயிர்நாதா! உம்மை மனவருத்தப்படுத்தி நான் சொர்க்கத்தையும் விரும்பேன்.
