Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
प्रभवन् पृच्छते यो हि सम्मानयति वा पुन: । नूनं जनमदुष्टात्मा पण्डिताख्यां स गच्छति
prabhavan pṛcchate yo hi sammānayati vā punaḥ | nūnaṃ janam aduṣṭātmā paṇḍitākhyāṃ sa gacchati ||
மகேஸ்வரன் கூறினார்—திறன் அல்லது உயர்நிலை உடையவனாய் இருந்தும் பணிவுடன் கேள்வி கேட்பவனும், பிறரை மதிப்பவனும் நிச்சயமாக தீய மனம் உடையவன் அல்லன்; அவன் பண்டிதன் என்ற புகழும் நிலையும் அடைகிறான்.
