Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
तथा देवनदी चेयं सर्वतीर्थाभिसम्भूृता । गगनाद् गां गता देवी गड्जा सर्वसरिद्वरा
tathā devanadī ceyaṁ sarvatīrthābhisambhṛtā | gaganād gāṁ gatā devī gaṅgā sarvasaridvarā ||
“அதேபோல் இந்தத் தேவநதி கங்கையும் இங்கே இருக்கிறாள்—அனைத்து தீர்த்தங்களும் கூடும் இடமாகப் போற்றப்படுபவள், எல்லா நதிகளிலும் முதன்மை, வானுலகத்திலிருந்து பூமிக்கு இறங்கிய தேவியே.”
