Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच देवि धर्मार्थतत्त्वज्ञे धर्मनित्ये दमे रते । सर्वप्राणिहित: प्रश्न: श्रूयतां बुद्धिवर्धन:
śrīmaheśvara uvāca
Devi dharmārthatattvajñe dharmanitye dame rate |
sarvaprāṇihitaḥ praśnaḥ śrūyatāṃ buddhivardhanaḥ ||
ஸ்ரீமகேஸ்வரர் கூறினார்—“தேவி! நீ தர்மமும் அர்த்தமும் என்னும் தத்துவத்தை அறிந்தவள்; தர்மத்தில் நிலைத்தவள்; தமத்தில் (சுயக்கட்டுப்பாட்டில்) மகிழ்பவள். எல்லா உயிர்களின் நலனுக்காகக் கேட்கப்பட்ட, அறிவை வளர்க்கும் இந்தக் கேள்வியை கேள்.”
