एष द्विजजने धर्मो गा्हस्थ्यो लोकधारण: । द्विजानां च सतां नित्यं सदैवैष प्रवर्तते

Transliteration

eṣa dvijajane dharmo gārhasthyo lokadhāraṇaḥ | dvijānāṁ ca satāṁ nityaṁ sadaivaiṣa pravartate ||

Translation

இதுவே இருமுறை பிறந்தோரின் (த்விஜர்களின்) இல்லறத் தர்மம்; உலகைத் தாங்கி நிலைநிறுத்துவது இதுவே. நற்குணம் கொண்ட பிராமணர்களிடத்தில் இது நாள்தோறும் நடைமுறையில் உள்ளது; அவர்களுக்கு இது எப்போதும் நிலையான ஒழுங்காகவே அமைகிறது.
