औपनआक्रात बछ। सर: पजञ्चत्रिशर्दाधिकशततमोब् ध्याय: जिनका अन्न ग्रहण करने योग्य है और जिनका ग्रहण करने योग्य नहीं है
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | bhojyā brāhmaṇasyeha ke bhojyāḥ kṣatriyasya ha | tathā vaiśyasya ke bhojyāḥ ke śūdrasya ca bhārata ||
யுதிஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்— ஓ பாரதா! இவ்வுலகில் பிராமணன் யாரிடமிருந்து அன்னம் ஏற்குதல் உரியது? க்ஷத்திரியன் யாரிடமிருந்து? அதுபோல வைசியன், சூத்ரன் யாருடைய இல்லத்தில் உணவு கொள்ளலாம்?
