Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
ततो मां भगवानाह साम्ना परमवल्गुना । लप्स्यसे तनयं कृष्ण आत्मतुल्यमसंशयम्
tato māṃ bhagavān āha sāmnā paramavalgūnā | lapsyase tanayaṃ kṛṣṇa ātmatulyam asaṃśayam ||
அப்போது பகவான் உபமன்யு மிக இனிய, ஆறுதலளிக்கும் சொற்களால் என்னிடம் கூறினார்— “கிருஷ்ணா! நீ உன்னைப் போன்ற ஒரு மகனைப் பெறுவாய்; இதில் ஐயமில்லை.”
