Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
सुदुःखान् नियमांस्तांस्तान् वहतः सुतपोधनान् । पश्यन् मुनीन् बहुविधानू प्रवेष्टमुपचक्रमे
suduḥkhān niyamāṁs tāṁs tān vahataḥ sutapodhanān | paśyan munīn bahuvidhānū praveṣṭum upacakrame ||
வாசுதேவர் கூறினார்—மிகவும் தாங்க இயலாத பலவகை நியமங்களைச் சுமந்து, தவமும் ஆன்மீகச் செல்வமும் நிறைந்த பலவகை முனிவர்களைக் கண்டு, நான் அந்த மகத்தான ஆசிரமத்தில் நுழையத் தொடங்கினேன்।
