Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
भूतभावनभावज्ञ सर्वभूताभिभावनम् | सर्वगं सर्वदं देवं पूजयामि पुरन्दर
bhūtabhāvanabhāvajña sarvabhūtābhibhāvanam | sarvagaṃ sarvadaṃ devaṃ pūjayāmi purandara ||
புரந்தரா! எல்லா உயிர்களையும் உண்டாக்குபவரும், அவர்களின் உள்ளநிலைகளை அறிபவரும்; எல்லாப் பிராணிகளின் தோல்வி-லயத்திற்கும் இறுதி ஆதாரமுமானவரும்; எங்கும் நிறைந்தும் அனைத்தையும் அளிக்க வல்ல தேவனுமான அந்த மகாதேவனை நான் வழிபடுகிறேன்.
