Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
तद्धक्तस्तद्गतो नित्य॑ तन्निष्ठस्तत्परायण: । भज पुत्र महादेवं ततः प्राप्स्यसि चेप्सितम्
tadbhaktas tadgato nityaṁ tannisṭhas tatparāyaṇaḥ | bhaja putra mahādevaṁ tataḥ prāpsyasi cepsitam ||
அவருக்கே பக்தனாகி, எப்போதும் அவரிலேயே மனத்தை நிலைநிறுத்து. அந்த ஒருநிஷ்டையில் உறுதியாக இருந்து, அவரையே பரம சரணமாகக் கொள். மகனே, மகாதேவனை இடையறாது வழிபடு; அப்பொழுது நீ விரும்பியதைப் பெறுவாய்.
