अतीव हसते रौद्रस्त्रासयन् नयनैर्जनम् । जागर्ति चैव स्वपिति जृम्भते च यथासुखम्
atīva hasate raudras trāsayan nayanair janam | jāgarti caiva svapiti jṛmbhate ca yathāsukham ||
வாசுதேவன் கூறினான்—அவர் ரௌத்ரப் பாவத்துடன் அளவின்றிச் சிரித்து, தம் பார்வையாலேயே மக்களை அச்சுறுத்துகிறார். ஆயினும் அவர் விருப்பம்போல் விழித்திருப்பார், உறங்குவார், இன்பமாகக் கொட்டாவி விடுவார்.
