Adhyāya 138: Vāyu’s Exempla on Brāhmaṇa-Prabhāva and a Cosmological Clarification
महाप्रभावा वरदा वरं दद्युरुपासिता: । ता गावोअस्यानुमन्यन्ते सर्वकर्मसु यत् फलम्
mahāprabhāvā varadā varaṁ dadyur upāsitāḥ | tā gāvo ’syānumanyante sarvakarmasu yat phalam ||
பசுக்கள் மிகுந்த ஆன்மீகப் பெருமை உடையவை; வரம் அளிப்பவையும் ஆகும். வழிபட்டு சேவித்தால் அவை விரும்பிய வரங்களைத் தரும். எல்லாக் காரியங்களிலும் ஒருவர் நாடும் பலன் நிறைவேற, அந்தப் பசுக்கள் ஒப்புதல் அளித்து—அருளால் நிறைவேற்றுகின்றன.
