ब्रह्मोवाच अहो प्रश्नो महाभागा गूढार्थ: परम: शुभ: । सूक्ष्म: श्रेयांश्व॒ मर्दानां भवद्धिः समुदाह्ृत:
brahmovāca aho praśno mahābhāgā gūḍhārthaḥ paramaḥ śubhaḥ | sūkṣmaḥ śreyāṁś ca martyānāṁ bhavadbhiḥ samudāhṛtaḥ ||
பிரம்மா கூறினார்—“ஆஹா! மகாபாகர்களே, இந்தக் கேள்வி ஆழ்ந்த பொருளுடையது; மிக மங்களகரமானது; மிக நுண்ணியது. இது மனிதர்களின் உச்ச நலனுக்கே வழிவகுக்கும்; நீங்கள் இதைத் தகுந்த முறையில் முன்வைத்தீர்கள்.”
