ब्रह्मभूतश्चरन्‌ विप्र: कृष्णद्वैपायन: पुरा । ददर्श कीटं धावन्तं शीघ्रं शकटवर्त्मनि

Transliteration

brahmabhūtaś caran vipraḥ kṛṣṇadvaipāyanaḥ purā | dadarśa kīṭaṃ dhāvantaṃ śīghraṃ śakaṭavartmani ||

Translation

முன்னொரு காலத்தில் பிரம்மநிலையிலே நிலைத்து உலாவிய அந்தணர் கிருஷ்ணத்வைபாயனன் (வியாசர்), வண்டிச்சக்கரத் தடத்தின் வழியில் ஒரு புழு மிக வேகமாக ஓடுவதைக் கண்டார்.
