एतदिच्छामि तत्त्वेन कथ्यमानं त्वयानघ । निश्चयेन चिकीर्षामि धर्ममेतं सनातनम्‌

Transliteration

etad icchāmi tattvena kathyamānaṃ tvayānagha | niścayena cikīrṣāmi dharmam etaṃ sanātanam || niṣpāpa pitāmaha ||

Translation

பாவமற்ற பிதாமஹரே! இதனைத் தத்துவமாக நீங்கள் விளக்க வேண்டும் என்று நான் விரும்புகிறேன். உறுதியான தீர்மானத்துடன் இந்த சனாதன தர்மத்தை நான் கடைப்பிடிக்க விரும்புகிறேன்.
