सदा द्वादशमासान्‌ वै जुह्मानो जातवेदसम्‌ | स्थानं वारुणमैन्द्रं च रौद्रं वाप्पधिगच्छति

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | sadā dvādaśa-māsān vai juhvāno jātavedasam | sthānaṃ vāruṇam aindraṃ ca raudraṃ vāpy adhigacchati ||

Translation

யார் பன்னிரண்டு மாதங்கள் இடைவிடாது ஜாதவேதஸ் (அக்னி) இல் ஆஹுதிகளைச் செலுத்துகிறாரோ, அவர் வருணன், இந்திரன், ருத்ரன் ஆகியோரின் உலகங்களை அடைகிறார்॥
