मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

तत्र शंखपताके द्वे युगान्तं कल्पमेव च । अयुतायुतं तथा पद्म समुद्र च तथा वसेत्‌

Transliteration

tatra śaṅkha-patāke dve yugāntaṁ kalpam eva ca | ayutāyutaṁ tathā padma samudraṁ ca tathā vaset ||

Translation

அங்கே விரதம் காத்தவன் அளவிட முடியாத நீண்ட காலம் தங்குவான் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது—இரண்டு ‘சங்கு’ காலங்கள், இரண்டு ‘பதாகா’ காலங்கள், ‘யுகாந்தம்’, ‘கல்பம்’, ‘அயுதாயுதம்’, ‘பத்மம்’, ‘சமுத்திரம்’—இவ்வாறு பிரம்மலோகத்தில் மிக நீண்ட வாசம் அவன் கட்டுப்பாட்டுடனான தர்மத்தின் பலன்.
