मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
वर्षासु वर्षतस्तावन्निवसत्यमरप्रभ: । वर्षा-ऋतुमें आकाशसे धरतीपर जितनी बूँदें गिरती हैं, उतने वर्षोतक वह देवोपम तेजस्वी पुरुष ब्रह्मलोकमें निवास करता है
varṣāsu varṣatastāvan nivasaty amaraprabhaḥ |
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—மழைக்காலத்தில் எத்தனை நேரம் மழை பெய்கிறதோ, அதே அளவு காலம்—அதாவது வானத்திலிருந்து பூமிக்கு விழும் மழைத்துளிகள் எத்தனைவோ, அவ்வளவு ஆண்டுகளுக்குச் சமமான காலம்—அந்த தேவசம ஒளிமிக்க புருஷன் பிரம்மலோகத்தில் வாசம் செய்கிறான்।
