मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
सिंहव्याप्रप्रयुक्तैस्तु मेघनि:स्वननादितैः
siṁha-vyāghra-prayuktaiḥ tu megha-niḥsvana-nāditaiḥ | tataḥ paścāt bahu-saṅkhyakā rathāḥ sānandaṁ vijaya-ghoṣaṁ kurvantaḥ pravartante | teṣu suvarṇa-mayeṣu nirmaleṣu maṅgala-kāriṣu ratheṣu deva-kanyā āruḍhā bhavanti |
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— அவர்களின் பின்னால், சிங்கங்களும் புலிகளும் பூட்டப்பட்டு, இடிமேகத்தின் ஆழ்ந்த கர்ஜனைபோல் முழங்கும் எண்ணற்ற தேர்கள் செல்கின்றன. மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் வெற்றிக்கோஷம் எழுப்பியவாறு அவை முன்னேறுகின்றன. அந்தத் தேர்கள் பொன்னால் ஆனவை, குற்றமற்றவை, மங்களகரமானவை; அவற்றில் தேவகன்னியர் ஏறியிருக்கின்றனர்.
