उपवासफलात्मकविधिः — Upavāsa as Yajña-Equivalent Merit

दिवं हंसप्रयुक्तेन विमानेन स गच्छति । शतं वर्षसहसत्राणां मोदते स दिवि प्रभो
divaṁ haṁsaprayuktena vimānena sa gacchati | śataṁ varṣasahasrāṇāṁ modate sa divi prabho ||
அவன் அன்னங்கள் இழுக்கும் தெய்வ விமானத்தில் விண்ணுலகிற்கு செல்கிறான்; ஓ பிரபுவே, விண்ணில் அவன் ஒரு இலட்சம் ஆண்டுகள் இன்புறுகிறான்.
