अप्यदृष्टं श्रवादेव पुरुषं धर्मचारिणम्‌ | भूतिकर्माणि कुर्वाणं तं जना: कुर्वते प्रियम्‌

Transliteration

apy adṛṣṭaṃ śravād eva puruṣaṃ dharmacāriṇam | bhūtikarmāṇi kurvāṇaṃ taṃ janāḥ kurvate priyam ||

Translation

தர்மத்தைப் பின்பற்றி, பிறரின் நலனுக்கான செயல்களில் ஈடுபடும் மனிதனை மக்கள் நேரில் காணாவிட்டாலும், அவன் பெயரை மட்டும் கேட்டாலே அவனை நேசிக்கத் தொடங்குவார்கள்.
