एवं वयमसत्तकार देवेन्द्रस्यास्य दुर्मते: । नहुषस्य किमर्थ वै मर्षयाम महामुने
evaṁ vayam asatkāra devendrasyāsya durmateḥ | nahuṣasya kimarthaṁ vai marṣayāma mahāmune ||
“ஓ மகாமுனியே! இந்தத் தீயமதி நஹுஷன் தேவேந்திரன் இந்திரனுக்கு இவ்வாறு செய்யும் அவமதிப்பையும் மரியாதையின்மையையும் நாம் ஏன் பொறுக்க வேண்டும்?”
