उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
प्रीयता हि तदा ब्रह्मन् ममानुग्रहबुद्धिना । पितृकार्ये त्वया पूर्वमुपदेश: कृतोडनघ
prīyatā hi tadā brahman mamānugraha-buddhinā | pitṛkārye tvayā pūrvam upadeśaḥ kṛto 'naghā ||
ஓ குற்றமற்ற பிராமணரே! அந்நாள்களில் நீர் என்மீது மிகுந்த அன்பு கொண்டிருந்தீர்; ஆகவே எனக்கு அருள் செய்யும் எண்ணத்தால், பித்ருகாரியத்தில் வேண்டிய முறையை முன்பே எனக்கு உபதேசித்தீர்.
