उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
भरतर्षभ! तदनन्तर वह जंगली कुशा, अन्न आदि ओषधि, पवित्र आसन और कुशकी चटाई ले आया ।।
bharatarṣabha! tadanantaraṃ sa jaṅgalīṃ kuśām, anna-ādi oṣadhīḥ, pavitram āsanaṃ ca kuśakīṃ ca caṭikām ājahāra. atha dakṣiṇam āvṛtya bhūmau caramaśaiṣikīm kṛtām anyāyato dṛṣṭvā taṃ śūdram ṛṣir abravīt—
பின்னர் அவன் தெற்கை நோக்கி, பிராமணருக்காக ‘சரம-சைஷிகீ’ (ஒருவகை சிறப்பு படுக்கை/ஆசனம்) விரித்தான். சாஸ்திரத்திற்கு மாறான இந்தத் தவறான நடத்தையைப் பார்த்து, அந்த ரிஷி சூத்ரனிடம் கூறினார்—
