अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः
Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
इच्छन्नपचितिं कर्तु भूगूणां भूगुनन्दन: । सर्वलोकविनाशाय तपसा महतैधित:
icchann apacitiṁ kartuṁ bhṛgūṇāṁ bhṛgunandanaḥ | sarvalokavināśāya tapasā mahataidhitaḥ ||
பிருகுவம்சத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சியான அந்த இளவன், பிருகுக்களுக்கு உரிய மரியாதையும் ஈடுசெய்தலும் செய்ய விரும்பி, எல்லா உலகங்களையும் அழிக்கத் தீர்மானித்தான்; மகத்தான தவத்தால் தன் வலிமையை மிகுதியாக வளர்த்தான்।
