Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
ऑपनआक्रात बछ। अ-काज जा अष्टस प्तरत्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: पितरोंद्वारा और्वके क्रोधका निवारण ब्राह्मण्युवाच नाहं गृह्नामि वस्ताता दृष्टी्नास्मि रुषान्विता । अयं तु भार्गवो नूनमूरुज: कुपितो5चद्य व:
brāhmaṇy uvāca—nāhaṁ gṛhṇāmi vastāta dṛṣṭiṁ nāsmi ruṣānvitā | ayaṁ tu bhārgavo nūnam ūrūjaḥ kupito ’dya vaḥ ||
பிராமணிப் பெண் கூறினாள்—குழந்தாய், நான் உன் பார்வையைப் பறிக்கவில்லை; உன்னிடம் எனக்குக் கோபமும் இல்லை. ஆனால் என் தொடையிலிருந்து பிறந்த இந்த பார்கவச் சிறுவன் இன்று நிச்சயமாக உங்கள்மேல் சினமுற்றான்.
