तद्दानादिवर्णनं नाम षड्विंशोध्यायः श्रीकृष्ण उवाच / सा गता स्नातुकामाथ नन्दां पापनिवारिणीम् / पप्रच्छ तं गुरुं विप्रं विनयावनता सुधीः
taddānādivarṇanaṃ nāma ṣaḍviṃśodhyāyaḥ śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca / sā gatā snātukāmātha nandāṃ pāpanivāriṇīm / papraccha taṃ guruṃ vipraṃ vinayāvanatā sudhīḥ
ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணன் உரைத்தான்—இது ‘தத்தானாதிவர்ணனம்’ எனப்படும் இருபத்தாறாம் அதிகாரம். பின்னர் அந்த அறிவுடைய பெண் பாபநிவாரிணியான நந்தையில் நீராட விரும்பி சென்று, பணிவுடன் தலைவணங்கி குருவான வேதபாரக பிராமணரை வணங்கி வினவினாள்।
