அப்போது காவ்யவாஹன் மகளிடம் கூறினான்—“மூடபுத்தியே, ஏன் கணவனை விரும்பவில்லை?” மகள் சொன்னாள்—“தேவா, அவன் எல்லா நற்குணங்களும் உடையவனாக இருந்தாலும் ஹரியைத் தவிர வேறு யாரையும் நான் விரும்பேன். இப்பிறவியில் கணவனென்று ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளேன்; ஏனெனில் உண்மையான ஒரே கணவன் ஹரியே.”
