சூதர் கூறினார்—இது ‘நாமாஷ்டோத்தர-த்விஷத’ எனும் இருநூற்று ஒன்பதாம் அதிகாரம். ‘கே’ என்ற எழுத்தால் அவள் ஸ்ரீருக்தா என அறியப்பட வேண்டும்; ‘ஸா’ என்றால் உத்யுக்தா. ‘ஸ்த்ரீ’ என்பது இரு குருக்களைச் சுட்டும். ‘மோ’ பெண்ணை, ‘ரோ’ மான்பெண்ணை (மிருகி) குறிக்கும். ‘மத்யா’ என்பது ‘மகௌ’; ‘கன்யா’ ‘பிரதிஷ்டா’ உடன் சொல்லப்படுகிறது।
