paripiṣṭaṃ śirolepācchiraḥ śūlavināśanam / nirguṇḍikāśikhāṃ pītvā gaṇḍamālāṃ vināśayet

இதனை நன்றாக அரைத்து தலைக்கு லேபமாகப் பூசினால் தலைவலி நீங்கும். மேலும் நிர்குண்டியின் இளந்தளிரை அருந்தினால் கழுத்துக் கட்டி போன்ற கிரந்தி வீக்கம் (கண்டமாலா) அகலும்।
