इन्तीयं सुकृता पेया कासश्वा सप्रवाहिकाः / पायसः कफकृद्बल्यः कृशरा वातनाशिनी
intīyaṃ sukṛtā peyā kāsaśvā sapravāhikāḥ / pāyasaḥ kaphakṛdbalyaḥ kṛśarā vātanāśinī
நன்றாகச் செய்யப்பட்ட பேயா இருமல், மூச்சுத்திணறல், மற்றும் பிரவாஹிகா (அதிசாரம்) ஆகியவற்றில் நன்மை தரும். பாயசம் வலிமை தரும்; ஆனால் கபத்தை வளர்க்கும். க்ருஷரா வாதத்தைத் தணிக்கும்.
