नात्मार्थे पाचयेदन्न नात्मार्थे पाचयेत्पशून् / देवार्थे ब्राह्मणार्थे वा पचमानो न लिप्यते
Transliteration
nātmārthe pācayedanna nātmārthe pācayetpaśūn / devārthe brāhmaṇārthe vā pacamāno na lipyate
Translation
தனக்காக அன்னம் சமைக்க வேண்டாம்; தனக்காக மாம்சத்திற்காகப் पशுவையும் சமைக்க வேண்டாம்; தேவகாரியத்திற்கோ பிராமண நலனிற்கோ சமைப்பவன் பாவத்தில் ஒட்டான்.
