Prahlāda’s Prayers Pacify Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva
Prahlāda-stuti and the Lord’s Benediction Offer
मामप्रीणत आयुष्मन्दर्शनं दुर्लभं हि मे । दृष्ट्वा मां न पुनर्जन्तुरात्मानं तप्तुमर्हति ॥ ५३ ॥
mām aprīṇata āyuṣman darśanaṁ durlabhaṁ hi me dṛṣṭvā māṁ na punar jantur ātmānaṁ taptum arhati
அன்பு பிரஹ்லாதா, நீ நீண்ட ஆயுள் வாழ்வாயாக. என்னை மகிழ்விக்காமல் என்னை யாரும் உணர முடியாது; என்னை தரிசித்தவனும் என்னை மகிழ்வித்தவனும் இனி தன் திருப்திக்காக வருந்தத் தேவையில்லை.
One cannot be happy under any circumstances unless one pleases the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but one who has learned how to please the Supreme Lord need no longer lament for his material condition.
