द्रुपदाद् द्रौपदी तस्य धृष्टद्युम्नादय: सुता: । धृष्टद्युम्नाद् धृष्टकेतुर्भार्म्या: पाञ्चालका इमे ॥ ३ ॥
drupadād draupadī tasya dhṛṣṭadyumnādayaḥ sutāḥ dhṛṣṭadyumnād dhṛṣṭaketur bhārmyāḥ pāñcālakā ime
மகாராஜா த்ருபதனிடமிருந்து த்ரௌபதி பிறந்தாள். த்ருபதனுக்கு த்ருஷ்டத்யும்னன் முதலான பல புதல்வர்களும் இருந்தனர். த்ருஷ்டத்யும்னனிடமிருந்து த்ருஷ்டகேது என்ற மகன் பிறந்தான். இவர்கள் அனைவரும் பார்ம்யாஶ்வ வம்சத்தார், பாஞ்சால வம்சம் எனப் புகழ்பெற்றோர்.
