Draupadī Meets Kṛṣṇa’s Queens — Narratives of the Lord’s Marriages and the Queens’ Bhakti
श्रीऋषिरुवाच इत्युत्तम:श्लोकशिखामणिं जने- ष्वभिष्टुवत्स्वन्धककौरवस्त्रिय: । समेत्य गोविन्दकथा मिथोऽगृणं- स्त्रिलोकगीता: शृणु वर्णयामि ते ॥ ५ ॥
śrī-ṛṣir uvāca ity uttamaḥ-śloka-śikhā-maṇiṁ janeṣv abhiṣṭuvatsv andhaka-kaurava-striyaḥ sametya govinda-kathā mitho ’gṛnaṁs tri-loka-gītāḥ śṛṇu varṇayāmi te
ஸ்ரீ ஷி கூறினார்: யுதிஷ்டிரர் முதலியோர் உத்தமஶ்லோக-சிகாமணி ஆகிய ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணனைப் புகழ்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தபோது, அந்தக மற்றும் கௌரவ குலப் பெண்கள் ஒன்றுகூடி, மூன்று உலகங்களிலும் பாடப்படும் கோவிந்தக் கதைகளை ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உரையாடத் தொடங்கினர். கேள்; அவற்றை நான் உனக்கு விவரிக்கிறேன்.
