Balarāma Humbles the Kurus and Rescues Sāmba
अहो यदून् सुसंरब्धान् कृष्णं च कुपितं शनै: । सान्त्वयित्वाहमेतेषां शममिच्छन्निहागत: ॥ ३२ ॥ त इमे मन्दमतय: कलहाभिरता: खला: । तं मामवज्ञाय मुहुर्दुर्भाषान् मानिनोऽब्रुवन् ॥ ३३ ॥
aho yadūn su-saṁrabdhān kṛṣṇaṁ ca kupitaṁ śanaiḥ sāntvayitvāham eteṣāṁ śamam icchann ihāgataḥ
ஆச்சரியம்! கடும் சினத்திலிருந்த யாதவர்களையும், கிருஷ்ணரையும் நான் மெல்லச் சமாதானப்படுத்தி, கௌரவர்களுக்காக அமைதியை விரும்பி இங்கு வந்தேன். ஆனால் மந்தபுத்தி கொண்டவர்களும், கலகத்தை விரும்புபவர்களுமான இந்தத் தீயவர்கள் என்னை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் அவமதித்து, செருக்கினால் கடுஞ்சொற்களைப் பேசினர்!
