दर्पोपशमनायास्य प्रवृक्णा बाहवो मया । सूदितं च बलं भूरि यच्च भारायितं भुव: ॥ ४८ ॥
darpopaśamanāyāsya pravṛkṇā bāhavo mayā sūditaṁ ca balaṁ bhūri yac ca bhārāyitaṁ bhuvaḥ
அவனுடைய அகந்தையை அடக்குவதற்காக நான் அவன் கரங்களை வெட்டினேன். மேலும் பூமிக்குப் பாரமாகிய அவன் வலிமைமிக்க படையையும் நான் அழித்தேன்।
