Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers

ततस्तिर्यङ्मुखो नग्नामनिरीक्षन् गदाग्रज: । बाणश्च तावद् विरथश्छिन्नधन्वाविशत् पुरम् ॥ २१ ॥
tatas tiryaṅ-mukho nagnām anirīkṣan gadāgrajaḥ bāṇaś ca tāvad virathaś chinna-dhanvāviśat puram
அப்போது கதாக்ரஜப் பெருமான் நிர்வாணப் பெண்ணைக் காணாமல் முகத்தைத் திருப்பினார்; ரதமின்றி, வில் முறிந்த நிலையில் பாணாசுரன் அந்த வாய்ப்பில் நகருக்குள் தப்பிச் சென்றான்।
