Govardhana-dhāraṇa: Kṛṣṇa Lifts Govardhana and Humbles Indra

कृष्णयोगानुभावं तं निशम्येन्द्रोऽतिविस्मित: । निस्तम्भो भ्रष्टसङ्कल्प: स्वान्मेघान् सन्न्यवारयत् ॥ २४ ॥

Transliteration

kṛṣṇa-yogānubhāvaṁ taṁ niśamyendro ’ti-vismitaḥ nistambho bhraṣṭa-saṅkalpaḥ svān meghān sannyavārayat

Translation

ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணரின் யோக சக்தியின் இவ்விளக்கத்தை கண்ட இந்திரன் மிகுந்த வியப்புற்றான். பொய்யான அகந்தை தாழ்ந்தது, எண்ணம் முறிந்தது; தன் மேகங்களை நிறுத்துமாறு ஆணையிட்டான்.
